Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was a member and the captain of the 2012 Fierce Five as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics in London she took home gold medals for floor and team events, and a bronze for the balance beam. In 2012 she was one of the few American athlete to win the most medals during the Olympics. Her gold medal at the Olympics in 2016 marked the second consecutive gold for the American team. She was, along with teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to accomplish this feat. In addition, she was awarded silver medals at the all-around individual event and in the floor workout. Following the 2nd Olympics, she stopped for three years gymnastics. Her gold medal winning American team also won 2 World Championships. As a young girl, she began to learn gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor exercises. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. Aly hopes to achieve a successful career as a fashion designer. The leotards she wears as a signature along with socks and other garments will be expanded in the future. She's writing a book called Fierce to be published at the end of this year.
